“A Dedicated Team... Committed to your Training Needs”

About CATI

CATI Training Systems was initially incorporated in 1992 as Carmel Applied Technologies Inc. CATI entered the competitive visual system providers market in 1996 with an OpenGL™ Silicon Graphics Incorporated (SGI) based image generator X–IG™.

Today, CATI′s image generators and UAV Training devices are all PC–based. CATI′s image generators are specifically designed around industry-standard OpenGL™, a high performance graphics Application Programming Interface (API) and OpenFlight™, the 3D standard format for the visual simulation industry. X–IG™, X–100™ and X–TUAS™ run on 100% COTS PC–based hardware and software, including Windows and Linux operating systems.

In September 2008, CATI was purchased by private investors and is now an independent small business. All of CATI′s assets were purchased including contracts, trademarks, software, products, intellectual property and license agreements. Engineering personnel and equipment that formed the CATI Simulation Operations also transitioned at the time of the divestiture.

As a small agile business, CATI Training Systems can now offer a more competitive edge in commercial aviation training and military training systems while maintaining the high standards and industry leading capabilities that CATI is known for. CATI is committed in providing a more agile and flexible response to current and future customers that larger technology companies are unable to offer.
