Two variants were designed for this effort the first model is an enhanced "rotor wash" and the second a "blowing dust" model simulating the radial motion of the dust at the lunar surface. The X-IG® Image Generator provided the framework for the enhanced models, which is running on the USAARL LSMP simulator. The resulting effort provided a high fidelity dust model fielded to 24 US Army LSMP and 3 US Army ABHFS full flight simulators during 2010 for an fleet wide Image Generator upgrade, contracted by PM Utility and PM Cargo Program offices.
CATI successfully integrated its image generator into Pinnacle Solutions port of the LSMP IOS .NET application.
