CATI awarded the LSMP/ABHFS UH–60 Image Generation System upgrades

Daleville, Alabama – January 8, 2010

In an effort to maintain a technological edge and enhance the functionality and trainability of the Utility simulators, CATI will provide a PC and X–IG™ software upgrades to significantly increase the processing capabilities and system reliability of all the LSMP/ABHFS UH–60 simulators. CATI Training Systems will also provide their Environmental Modeling Editor (EME™) as part of this upgrade. The EME™ software suite upgrades will provide rapid enhancement to runtime databases allowing the end-user to ultimately select and place 3D features within the database in minutes. Data elements are added using a drag and drop interface and can subsequently be scaled, moved, rotated and then saved to small, easily distributed data files. The addition of new terminals, airfield features, and the populating of entire urban scenes has never been this easy.
