His leadership roles included Superintendent Command Post Inspections, Air Combat Command, Inspector General Team and Superintendent USCENTCOM, USEUCOM, U.S. Forces Korea, Combined Forces Command, and United Nations Command Centers and finally as the Chief Enlisted Manger, 613 Air and Space Operations Center (AOC). Vince retired from the USAF in 2011 at the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. He holds degrees in Information Systems Management and Intelligence from the Community College of the Air Force.
Rolf Beutler has over 44 years of experience in the simulation, training and modeling industry. His expertise ranges from vehicle dynamics modeling, autopilot and flight control simulation, visual systems, simulation systems development, simulation research support, integration, testing and validation.
Mr. Beutler joined CAE Inc. in 1986 as a flight dynamics systems engineer working on numerous military and commercial fixed and rotary wing flight simulators. He was one of the lead developers of the CAE blade element rotor model. In 1992 as a lead systems integrator, Mr Beutler was assigned to the U.S. Army Research Institute, Fort Rucker, AL, where he supported Army researchers in training and simulation fidelity experiments. This research involved testing and integration of new and evolving technologies and their effectiveness on simulation fidelity and training. In 1998, Mr. Beutler became Site Manager at the Army Research Institute and held that position until 2005 when he joined CATI Training Systems, leading a team of engineers to produce CATI’s X–IG® image generator.
Mr. Beutler holds a Masters of Applied Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Institute for Aerospace Studies, University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Windsor.
